New HP Mini!!

Hiya

Got a HP EliteDesk 800 G2 35W MINI other week, done some upgrades to it like I always do, 256GB NVMe Drive, 500GB HDD, 32GB RAM and USB Wifi (couldn't be bothered to wired antenna internally!!)

So, for the lolz decided to install AlmaLinux 10 Kitten, their rolling branch, and installed Bedrock Linux on top of it and then also Arch/Debian Bookworm, its all kinda weird and crazy but somehow it works, only question remains, what do I do with it lol, got it cheap, was 70 GBP down to 46!! so had to snap that up.

Anyone else doing any projects?

am trying to install proxmox on a Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q for a home server but i have square brain and dont know what a DNS or a FQDN is... so its been going, not far but going

Oh I have one of those too, M710q, very nice machines a little bit different to upgrade as the ram and ssd are under the board via a bottom plate but very nice, yours is also the Tiny version?

yeah, still crazy to think that they make computers so small

was a bit weird to realize that theres stuff underneath the computer but makes sense now that i think about it
